Our mission is to foster collaboration, share knowledge, and advance the field of retina care. With a focus on innovation and cutting-edge technology, we aim to provide a platform in case based teaching approach for ophthalmologists, researchers, and industry professionals to exchange ideas and explore the latest advancements in retina care.

This event is accredited for MOC Program Section 1: Accredited Group Learning credits. "The Western Canada Retina Retreat & Retina Rounds is a self-approved group learning activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada."

*All attendees will be required to submit and present a 10-minute retina related case.

Learning Objective

Distinguish the principles behind various test (e.g., fluorescein angiography, autofluorescence, optical coherence tomography) and apply corresponding findings to common retinal disorders.

Recognize the clinical presentation of rare retinal disorders.

Review recent advances in the treatment and prevention of retinal disorders.
